About

Laurie J Proud was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne and moved to London at the age of 19 to work as a storyboard artist.

He later studied at the Royal College of Art and graduated in 1999 with an MA in animation and has worked as animator and director.

His collection of graphic short stories ‘Peepholes’ was published in 2012 by Blank Slate Books.

He is currently working on an illustrated book entitled ‘Gibbergeest’.

He lives in East Sussex.
